What made me pick this career? (Without making it sound too cheesy) I seriously love the capacity to build a film, which in part becomes a story. These stories can evoke the deepest of emotion and it is the reflection of this emotion that makes me love this career. Capturing people, stories, love, personality and unique flare is my favourite part about filmmaking.

What made me start this? I created a small documentary film about our Pop, or as we knew him, “Poppy” when I knew his candle was burning shorter. This film allowed me to capture my families thoughts, memories, photos and share his story; along with capturing what he meant and still means to his family. He simply watched the film with headphones on, smiled, shared tears and asked to watch it again. Without a doubt this is one of my favourite memories and that will forever be my best film, because of the emotions sparked from making and sharing it!

I really freaking love story telling and I’m grateful that I’m able to share so many couple’s stories. Not only that, but I also get to hang out and enjoy one of the most celebrated days of life and capture it for the couple to keep forever.

I have a beautiful partner that has supported all the choices I have made along the way; and who is also the best mum to my 3 amazing step-children and the most beautiful little (not so little) girl named Ruby.

Every story is unique and should be told in a way that represents the individuals in the most pure, raw form of film possible. I tailor each film to the unique stories that unfold and take every detail into consideration when piecing together each film.

Film is the most important capsule of time for the most important moments in life.
